The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) usually releases the results for the November/December General Certificate Examination (GCE) around February/March of the following year. So the 2023/2024 results may not be available until around that time.

Note that you will need a scratch card to check your NABTEB GCE result online. The scratch card contains a PIN and Serial Number which you will need to input to access your result. You can purchase the scratch card at any NABTEB office or an authorized dealer.

To check your NABTEB GCE result via SMS, follow these steps:

  2. Type in the message in the format: NABTEBExamNoPIN*ExamYear and send it to the shortcode 32327 (Note: ExamNo refers to your NABTEB GCE examination number, PIN refers to the Personal Identification Number given to you during registration, and ExamYear is the year you sat for the examination)
  3. Wait for a response from the shortcode containing your result.
