It has been officially announced by the management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai, that the cut-off mark or point for the 2023/2024 academic session’s Post UTME is set at 170.

This means that in order to be eligible for admission into IBBU for the 2023/2024 academic session, candidates who have chosen the institution as their first choice in the UTME must obtain a minimum of 170 in the Post UTME screening exercise. It is important to note that meeting the cut-off mark does not automatically guarantee admission into the university, as admission is based on merit and the availability of slots in each department.

IBBU Post UTME Requirements & Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the IBBU Post UTME screening exercise, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Candidates must have chosen Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai as their first choice institution in the UTME.
  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 170 in the UTME.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credits at O’ level (including Mathematics and English Language) in not more than two (2) sittings.
  • Candidates must have completed their O’ level examinations before the time of application.
  • Candidates must have the appropriate JAMB subject combination for their intended course of study.

IBBU Post UTME Screening Form Fee 2023

The IBBU Post UTME Form has a fee of only N2,000, which eligible candidates must pay through the University Portal to participate in the screening exercise. The fee is non-refundable.

IBBU Post UTME Screening Date 2023/2024

Candidates’ screening dates for the IBBU Post UTME will be communicated to them via their registered email addresses and phone numbers. To ensure timely notification, candidates are advised to provide a valid email address and phone number during the registration process.

How to Apply for IBBU POST UTME 2023

In order to apply for the IBBU Screening UTME Form, it is important to follow the instructions carefully. Firstly, check your eligibility by clicking on the provided link, which will direct you to a page where you can enter your JAMB registration number. If you are eligible, you will be prompted to enter your mobile phone number and select the number of O’level results to submit, with a maximum of two sittings.

A transaction ID or invoice will then be generated, and you can choose your preferred payment option, either through Interswitch Branch Collect or Interswitch webPAY. If you choose Branch Collect, a transaction ID or invoice slip will be generated for payment via the Interswitch platform in designated banks. On the other hand, if you choose webPAY, you will be redirected to the Interswitch webPAY page to make payment online.

After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation text message that contains details you will use to log in to the portal. Once logged in, upload all necessary information and click submit. A submission acknowledgment slip should be printed out.

When going for the screening, the original copies of your O’ level results, JAMB result/acknowledgment slip, A’ level results or diploma (if applicable), O’level certificate/statement of result(s), 2 passport photographs, an indigene letter and a certificate of birth/declaration of age will be required.
